Beschreibung
Três Azulejos is a group of three pieces for violin duo inspired in Portuguese national folklore.
The first piece is based on a song ("A Moda da Lavoura") from south Alentejo traditionally sung during the tillage of the soils as a way of incentivation of the animals that helped in the process.
The second piece takes inspiration from a traditional dance from Ribatejo, the Fandango.
The third piece is inspired in a legend from Alcacér do Sal (Almira, the enchanted moorish girl).
